Donald Trump’s presence has been unavoidable at World Cup 2026.

Though he’s not yet been spotted at a game, despite the United States hosting 78 of the 104 fixtures at this summer’s tournament, the controversial US President has still dominated headlines.
The major talking point has been his part in FIFA’s decision to delay USA striker Folarin Balogun’s red card suspension, which allowed him to play in their crunch round of 16 clash against Belgium.

The co-hosts were well beaten but the saga has left a sour taste in the mouth for many and threatens to overshadow what had been an impressive World Cup for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
We know Trump likes to put himself front and centre where possible, and he couldn’t resist joining the trophy winners on the pitch at last summer’s Club World Cup final, but will he try to do the same at the World Cup final later this month?
Radio Times brings you all the details about whether President Donald Trump will attend the World Cup 2026 final.
