After wrapping up its first season earlier this year, You and I Are Polar Opposites has wasted very little time getting back to its classmates — with season 2 already starting and the release dates of its following episodes being really soon.

The romantic comedy anime, based on the manga by Kōcha Agasawa, returned for season 2 in early July, carrying on the romantic adventures of Miyu Suzuki and Yusuke Tani. An adaptation of the eight-volume manga, this is the final season, too.

You and I Are Polar Opposites season 2 picks up with Suzuki, Tani, and the rest of the group moving into their third year of high school, as entrance exam study begins to change the mood around them.
After season 1 followed Suzuki and Tani’s very different personalities gradually bringing them closer together, the new episodes look set to test what that bond means as the end of school starts to feel more real.
The same official update teases Suzuki and Tani’s feelings becoming more complicated, with the pair moving closer, missing each other and facing moments of happiness and loneliness as their final school season begins.
Season 2 will not only focus on Suzuki and Tani, either. A third trailer for the season from late June highlights Azuma and Taira’s relationship, too, with changing, blossoming feelings between the two to shift in a way fans will want to keep an eye on.
You and I Are Polar Opposites season 2 is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
