Recalling an incident from the shoot, Amruta shared that she sustained an injury during her very first action sequence. Despite the setback, she chose to continue filming. “While shooting my first action sequence, I got injured but continued filming. I had accidentally hit a stuntman on the face, and as a result, my wrist remained swollen for over a month,” she said.

The actor explained that the intensity of the action scenes often made it difficult to gauge force and movement, especially early on. The injury, though painful, turned into an important learning experience. “Despite the injury, it was a very rewarding experience for me, as it helped me understand the dos and don’ts of action sequences,” Amruta added.

She also candidly admitted that her enthusiasm sometimes led to unintended consequences on set. According to Amruta, she would occasionally hit her co-actors during action scenes, making the moments surprisingly real. “People on set were often hesitant to perform action scenes with me because I would unintentionally hit them,” she said with a laugh.

One such instance became a running joke during the shoot. “Emraan Hashmi would even jokingly tell everyone on set that he refused to do any action scenes with me,” she recalled, highlighting the light-hearted atmosphere that balanced the demanding shoot.

What could have been a discouraging episode ultimately became a learning curve for the actor. The experience helped Amruta better understand the physical discipline required for action sequences and approach them with greater control going forward. Rather than slowing her down, the incident reinforced her commitment to adapting and growing with every new challenge she takes on.
