Don’t think about what people have to say and don’t compare it to Border (1997), that was the most important,” Ahan shared, recalling his father’s words. For Suniel, who played Assistant Commandant Bhairon Singh Rathore in the original, the message was clear – authenticity over imitation.

The original Border remains one of Bollywood’s most celebrated war dramas, making the sequel a project under intense scrutiny. But Ahan insists he didn’t let that legacy become a burden. Instead, he focused on staying true to his instincts as an actor. That approach seems evident in the teaser, where Ahan appears raw and intense, firmly placed in the thick of action without leaning on nostalgia.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 promises to be an epic war spectacle.
