The Ranveer Singh led Dhurandhar has set the box office on fire, as the film has decimated all existing records on the third Friday. According to early estimates, the Aditya Dhar directorial is looking to collect in the range of Rs. 22 crores to Rs. 24 crores, which has defied the law of film trending in India.
With this, the 15-day total of Dhurandhar now stands at Rs. 502 crores, and the film has become the 9th after Baahubali 2, Pathaan, Gadar 2, Jawan, Animal, Stree 2, Pushpa 2 and Chhaava to enter the prestigious Rs. 500 crore club. The film is an unstoppable force and not looking to stop anytime soon, as an entry in the Rs. 600 crore club and the Rs. 700 crore club is certain, given the historic trend.
The all-time records are coming down crashing every single day, and the film is now racing to top Pushpa 2 and emerge as the #1 film of all time in Hindi language. This also means it will comfortably go past the biggest Bollywood film of all time – Stree 2.
Dhurandhar is not impacted at all by the release of Avatar 3, in fact it is the other way round, where the Ranveer Singh starrer has taken a hit on the business of the James Cameron film.
