Kriti Sanon has had a remarkable year as she reached another high as the actor marked a strong presence at the fifth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah. With Tere Ishk Mein earning widespread praise and doing well at the box office worldwide, Kriti ended the year by stepping onto one of the world’s most influential cinema stages with striking confidence and global attention.

The actor was among the notable names at the Red Sea Women in Cinema Gala Dinner, where she was seen interacting with international stars including Dakota Johnson, Nina Dobrev, Uma Thurman and Adrien Brody—a moment that highlighted her growing global footprint and the momentum she has built through 2025.

Kriti’s festival appearances drew significant attention for their refined glamour. For the Women in Cinema event, she opted for a statuesque black gown by Australian designer Toni Matičevski featuring a thigh-high slit and sculpted detailing that amplified her red-carpet presence. At her “In Conversation” session, she chose a beige silk organza gown by Dubai-based designer Kristina Fidelskaya. The look, complete with a structured bodice, sheer skirt, cascading floral appliqués and a fluid silhouette, was paired with jewellery from h.ajoomal Jewellers, dewy makeup, pink-nude lips and bold purple glitter eyeshadow.

During her session, Kriti reflected on her role in Aanand L. Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, a performance widely regarded as one of her most layered portrayals. Speaking about her character, she said, “What I love about her is that she’s not perfect. She’s not your quintessential, good girl. She’s flawed, as we are as human beings. And she’s extremely raw, she’s vulnerable.” She also shared her excitement about the resurgence of romantic dramas, adding, “I’m really glad that love stories are back. I craved them. It’s my favorite genre… this year has been about love stories.”

Kriti Sanon, meanwhile, also won an award in the Actor of the Year – Female category for her performance in the Netflix film Do Patti at the Bollywood Hungama Entertainment Awards 2025. Interestingly, the actress also marked her debut as a producer with this entertainer which featured her in a double role for the first time.

And now with Tere Ishk Mein continuing its strong box-office run and her visibility rising on the global stage, Kriti’s presence at the Red Sea Film Festival showcased an artist confidently stepping into a new phase of her career.
