The first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4 on Netflix marked actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ debut on the popular comedy show. Released on December 20, the episode saw Priyanka laughing, singing, dancing, and engaging in candid conversations. Among the many moments that stood out, one particular anecdote about Nick Jonas going the extra mile on Karwa Chauth caught everyone’s attention.

Recalling the incident, Priyanka shared how spotting the moon that evening turned into an unexpected challenge. “We’ve tried to spot the moon in the strangest places. Once, we were at a stadium where he was doing a show, and the moon just wouldn’t appear. There were clouds, and rain was about to start. Around 60–70 thousand people were present and the show kept going on. We waited till 10 pm, then 11 pm, and still the moon wasn’t visible,” she said.

She then added with a smile, “Want to hear something romantic? He finally took me up in a plane, above the clouds, and then I broke my fast after seeing the moon.”

This isn’t the first time Priyanka has spoken about Nick’s grand romantic gestures. In an earlier episode of Koffee With Karan, she had revealed that Nick shut down an entire Tiffany & Co. store when he proposed to her. “It took me 45 seconds to say yes, because at that point, we had dated for just two months. He was on his knees with this big Tiffany box, inside which was another box. He went with his brothers to pick the ring and shut down the entire Tiffany store,” she had recalled.

On the professional front, Priyanka was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s original film Heads of State. The actress also recently grabbed attention at the grand title reveal event of SS Rajamouli’s next film, Varanasi, which stars her alongside Mahesh Babu.
