Even after marriage and motherhood, Rani Mukerji never took a clean break from acting. She has now decided to make a full-fledged comeback in 2026, with two back-to-back projects.

Rani Mukerji to make a full-fledged comeback this year, to start working regularly again

The first oneMardaani 3,the third instalment from herMardaaniseries, will be releasedon January 30. She starts shooting for another filmOh My Goddess (in which she plays the title role) from March.

A third project, to be helmed by her favourite filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is being locked in even as you read this.

A close family friend of Rani and her husband Aditya Chopra, revealed, “Rani was always very clear on her priorities as a mother: no professional commitments until their daughter Adira was 4. Thereafter selected projects and only when Adi was home to do the babysitting. And now when Adira is 9 and has her own life, Rani will be working full time.”
