Early on Saturday, the superstar was spotted arriving in the city accompanied by his youngest son, AbRam Khan, and his manager, Pooja Dadlani, as he prepared for the high-profile engagement. Videos circulating on social media show Shah Rukh exiting the airport with tight security, holding AbRam’s hand as they made their way through the crowd.

The actor’s casual look of jeans and a dark jacket was complemented by AbRam’s relaxed all-black outfit, capturing the attention of onlookers who gathered to catch a glimpse of the pair. Shah Rukh had earlier sparked significant buzz by hinting at his presence at an event with Messi in Kolkata. On Thursday, he took to social media to stir excitement among fans by teasing their potential collaboration, writing: “This time round not planning my Knight in Kolkata… and hoping the day ride is completely ‘Messi’. See you guys on the 13th at the Salt Lake Stadium.”

Messi himself also arrived in the city early Saturday alongside thousands of enthusiastic fans at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. The Argentine icon is in India as part of his GOAT India Tour 2025, a three-day series of events spanning multiple cities and starting in Kolkata. This is Messi’s second visit to the country, his first having been in 2011 for a friendly match against Venezuela. Following his stay in Kolkata, Messi is slated to travel to Hyderabad, Mumbai, and New Delhi as part of his packed schedule, which includes a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi before departing.
