Falcon Festival 2025 saw a strong turnout, with locals, travellers, and campers gathering in large numbers to watch Shilpa perform. The crowd responded enthusiastically, singing along to her songs and creating a shared atmosphere that defined the evening. The scale of the audience and the collective participation made the performance a memorable moment in her touring journey.

Reflecting on the experience, Shilpa said, “This was our first trip to Umrangso, and while I’ve performed in Assam many times, this place felt truly special. The surroundings are beautiful, and singing in the Dima Hasao hills was a unique experience. Seeing people from different places come together, some even camping, and singing along made the evening unforgettable.” She added that hearing the audience join in on songs like ‘Barbaad’, ‘Besharam Rang’, and ‘Bulleya’ made the performance especially meaningful.

Shilpa Rao’s appearance further strengthened Falcon Festival’s reputation as a distinctive cultural event that blends music, regional identity, and environmental awareness. With its focus on sustainability and the conservation of the migratory Amur Falcon, the festival continued to draw national attention, positioning Umrangso as an emerging destination on India’s cultural map.
