Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has seen a noticeable drop on Day 2 at the box office. After an opening-day of Rs. 7.75 crores, the film is expected to collect around Rs. 4.5 crores on Friday, as per early trends.

That translates to a fall of Rs. 2.25 crores from Day 1 — roughly a 42% drop. The drop was always on the cards because Day 1 was Christmas (a holiday-driven surge), while Day 2 was a working day, which typically pulls down footfalls especially for an urban-leaning romantic-comedy that relies heavily on multiplex traffic.
However, while the fall is explainable, it also underlines the challenge the film faces in terms of momentum. With Dhurandhar continuing to dominate audience attention (and show allocation), along with Avatar – Fire And Ash still attracting premium-format crowds, the market remains split, and this release is fighting for mindspace and high-value shows in key properties.
At this stage, the film’s two-day total is expected to stand at around Rs. 12.25 crores. The real test begins now: Saturday and Sunday will decide the weekend trajectory. If the film doesn’t show a strong jump over the next 48 hours, it will be hard to shake off the struggle tag. Right now, the trend suggests the film needs weekend growth to prove it has legs otherwise, it risks getting squeezed further in the coming weekdays.
