The makers of Swayambhu, the upcoming historical action epic starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Samyuktha, and Nabha Natesh, recently announced the film’s wrap with a behind-the-scenes video titled Rise of Swayambhu. The footage offered a detailed look at the film’s scale, elaborate sets, and high-intensity action sequences—many of which were shaped by specialised training brought in from overseas.

According to an independent industry source, a trained team of Vietnamese sword-fighting experts was flown into Hyderabad to work with the film’s stunt artistes. “Several hundred artistes were part of the enormous climax sequence that was shot over 60 days at Annapurna Studios,” the source revealed.

Nikhil Siddhartha had already undergone his own extensive martial arts training in Vietnam ahead of filming. His preparation allowed him to handle a sword with both hands, displaying a level of skill and agility that the makers say was essential for the film’s action-heavy narrative.

Swayambhu brings together a large team of top technicians, including director Bharat Krishnamachari, music director Ravi Basrur of KGF and Salaar, cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar of Baahubali and RRR, and editor Tammiraju. The production spanned over 170 days, underscoring the ambition behind the project.

Produced by Bhuvan and Shreekar under Pixel Studios, the film is described as a tribute to India’s historical legacy. Swayambhu is slated for a worldwide release on February 13, 2026, aligning with the festival of Maha Shivaratri.
