Actress Alia Bhatt, a true representation of Bollywood’s burgeoning global influence, made a luminous statement as she received the inaugural Golden Globe Horizon Award at the Red Sea International Film Festival. Styled by Rhea Kapoor and Shereen Lovebug, her choice of attire was a masterful blend of ethereal romance and red-carpet power: Look 9 from Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/26.

This ensemble perfectly encapsulated the theme of “chasing the horizon” that Alia herself referenced in her acceptance, presenting her as a vision of modern, yet timeless, cinematic royalty.

Alia’s gown is a work of Lebanese couture artistry, distinguished by its romantic details and stunning color palette. The dress is adorned with multicolored floral prints—specifically rose, marigold, sage, and lilac tones—that melt into one another, giving it a painterly effect. These delicate florals are enhanced with tone-on-tone sequin embellishments and delicate sparkle detailing, catching the light with every movement.

The design features a draped sweetheart neckline and a fitted, corseted bodice that cinches at the waist. The structure of the bodice flows into a dramatically cascading, sheer panel and a voluminous skirt, giving her an almost Grecian or “Birth of Venus” presence, as her hairstylist, Amit Thakur, aptly captioned.

Stylists Rhea Kapoor and Shereen chose to keep the accessories minimal, allowing the intricate craftsmanship of the couture gown to remain the centerpiece. Alia opted for statement, floral-motif earrings in deep berry tones from Sanjay Gupta World, which cleverly echoed the subtle colors within the gown’s print. The look was finished with a delicate ring from Birdhichand.

The “golden warmth” makeup look, as described by MUA Puneet B Saini, was executed with flawless precision. The focus was on a golden, molten sheen on the skin, cheeks “kissed with quiet heat,” and a bronze tone on the eyes, creating a harmonious sun-kissed look. A soft, tonal mouth completed the picture, maintaining a natural yet luminous glow. Hairstylist Amit Thakur kept the hair in loose, soft, and voluminous waves, which beautifully complemented the romantic feel of the dress.

The look quickly caught attention across social media, earning admiration from fans and industry colleagues. Neetu Singh praised it with a warm “Loveee it,” while Shibani Dandekar called it “just unreal!! Spectacular wow.” Even Hrithik Roshan joined in, describing the photos simply as “Beautiful pics.”
