Taking to Instagram, Chauhan shared a heartfelt post reflecting on her journey on the film and the quiet yet powerful support she received from its leading man, Ranveer Singh.

In her post, Smriti described Ranveer as a ‘force’, crediting him for being a constant source of encouragement during the demanding process of bringing Dhurandhar to life. Rather than focusing on his on-screen prowess, she highlighted the actor’s generosity, emotional intelligence and unwavering presence behind the scenes—especially during moments of self-doubt.

I’ll tell you a little secret about this magnificent being I’m talking about: He has so much love to give — you’ll get tired receiving, but he won’t stop giving it ?? Recalling the start of her journey—when director Aditya Dhar entrusted her with the film—Smriti described the experience and added, “On 13th March, 2024, @adityadhar sir laid his bet on me with Dhurandhar. ????? What followed was a rollercoaster ride. You don’t know this, Ranveer, but you became the strongest stilt I had through this journey. I stayed afloat — steady, aligned — because you were always there – you believed in me. On days I was struggling, I’d magically hear from you — those kind words, arriving exactly when I needed them most, kept me going.”

“This journey felt safe and held together because of you. I walked in cautious and guarded, and I walk away steadier — surer — deeply, deeply grateful, because you were there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ????????
