This week’s (May 18 to May 24, 2026) new releases on Peacock include an action-comedy starring Henry Cavill.
Coming to Peacock on May 18, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024) is a spy thriller directed by Guy Ritchie. It’s based on recently declassified files from the true, unconventional World War II mission, “Operation Postmaster.” The story follows a motley crew of specialists recruited by Winston Churchill to destroy Nazi supply ships using unorthodox tactics. Their mission laid the groundwork for modern black operations.
The film stars Cavill as Gus March-Phillipps, with Alan Ritchson as Anders Lassen, Alex Pettyfer as Geoffrey Appleyard, and Eiza González as Marjorie Stewart. Henry Golding, Cary Elwes, Freddie Fox, and Rory Kinnear round out the cast as Freddy Alvarez, Brigadier Colin Gubbins, Ian Fleming, and Winston Churchill.
Also among Peacock’s releases this week is Quentin Tarantino’s 275-minute uncut epic, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. Premiering on May 22, the Peacock exclusive seamlessly combines both volumes into a single continuous experience. It follows The Bride, an elite assassin who awakens from a four-year coma. She sets out to hunt down her former lover, Bill, and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.
Another premiere to look forward to is The Killer Among Us Season 1, dropping on Peacock on May 24. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the Oxygen true-crime docuseries investigates shocking murders in tight-knit communities where the victim knows the killer. It covers the brutal murder of county treasurer Sharron Erickson in the tiny farming village of Colon, Nebraska, with a population of 110.
