The special encounter took place as part of Messi’s G.O.A.T India Tour 2025, which has been drawing huge crowds across the country. According to reports, the Argentine great’s itinerary has included stops in multiple cities, and his arrival in Mumbai was met with great excitement from fans.

Before the meeting, Kareena shared a snapshot on social media that captured the family’s anticipation. The photo showed her confidently leading her sons out of a room, ready to meet one of the greatest footballers of all time. She captioned, “Got dressed up to take the boys to meet their hero. For the occasion, Kareena kept her look elegant yet understated in a brownish-beige dress, while Taimur and Jeh sported football jerseys to reflect their enthusiasm. Taimur’s jersey featured Messi’s name on the back, and Jeh’s read “Argentina”, a tribute to the World Cup-winning team.

Messi’s visit to Mumbai also includes an initiative with young athletes under-14 football players selected by the Maharashtra Sports Department who will get a rare opportunity to practice with the football icon.
