With over two decades of experience across Europe and Asia, Andreas Brueckl has worked extensively on feature films, premium streaming series and international commercial projects. Over the years, he has been associated with several notable Indian titles, including Paatal Lok, Jailer, Sacred Games, Maidaan, Delhi Crime and Daaku Maharaj. His professional collaborations also extend to projects in Los Angeles, Europe and the Middle East.
Known for his approach to cinematic colour and visual consistency, Brueckl’s work is informed by a detailed understanding of cameras, lenses and lighting. His expertise spans both large-scale theatrical releases and long-form streaming content, making him a key addition to Annapurna Studios’ evolving creative ecosystem.
Speaking about the development, Supriya Yarlagadda, Executive Director of Annapurna Studios, said, “At Annapurna Studios, we strive for creative excellence and are committed to working with the finest talent. In addition, he graded India’s first HDR Dolby Vision feature film for Netflix and was among the earliest professionals to adopt scene-referred colour grading in the country, helping establish contemporary HDR and colour-managed pipelines for long-form storytelling.

His extensive experience across both international projects and Indian cinema brings valuable perspectives that will further expand our creative vision.”
With Andreas Brueckl joining its team, Annapurna Studios continues to enhance its focus on advanced imaging workflows and technical precision in visual storytelling. The move aligns with the studio’s broader efforts to position itself as a key creative and technical hub for premium Indian and international productions.
As Annapurna Studios marks 50 years of its cinematic journey, the addition of global talent such as Brueckl reflects its ongoing commitment to adapting to evolving industry standards while continuing to support filmmakers with world-class post-production resources.
