In the midst of widespread online fascination with Akshaye Khanna’s standout performance in Dhurandhar, co-star R Madhavan recently chimed in with a humorous message that gently pokes fun at how public attention has overwhelmingly gravitated toward Khanna’s role.

Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of the fierce antagonist Rehman Dakait in the action thriller has become a hot topic on social platforms, with many fans highlighting his intense presence and memorable scenes. However, Madhavan, who plays an important part in the film as Ajay Sanyal, shared a meme that playfully expresses his feeling of being eclipsed by the acclaim directed toward Khanna.

The meme taken from a scene in the Hollywood film Ford v Ferrari shows Madhavan’s character standing off to the side as Khanna’s character enjoys applause from an adoring crowd. In the image, a character tips his hat, while the onscreen text includes the phrases “True cinephile” and “remarkable transformation on screen,” suggesting that Madhavan’s own contribution has been significant, even if it has been overshadowed.
