Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji was feeling all things nostalgic on Tuesday when she visited St Xavier’s College. The actress is currently on promoting her upcoming film, Mardaani 3. She will reprise her role of police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. As part of the film‘s promotions, Rani made her way to St Xavier’s College and ended up in the same classroom where her 2018 film Hichki was shot.

In videos and photos surfacing online, Rani Mukerji took a seat in the same classroom seen in Hichki. She was joined by the college students in the hearty moment. Rani was also seen posing for photos with students. The heartwarming moment is already winning over the internet.

Rani Mukerji is leaving no stone unturned to promote her film. Over the weekend, Rani visited Pune and participated in a special Mardaani khel organised by students in the city. During her visit, Rani also offered special prayers at the city’s iconic temple, Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir. Photos from her visit went viral.

Speaking of Mardaani 3, the film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film carries forward the franchise’s commitment to socially relevant storytelling. While the first Mardaani confronted the horrors of human trafficking and Mardaani 2 unpacked the chilling psyche of a serial rapist, the third installment dives into yet another dark and pressing societal reality, further solidifying the franchise’s intent to bring awareness to social issues.

Mardaani remains India’s only successful female-led franchise – and the only one led by a female cop. Mardaani 3 releases in theatres worldwide on January 30, 2026.
