The acclaimed musical trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy are set to make their much-anticipated Malayalam cinema debut with the upcoming film Chatha Pacha – The Ring of Rowdies, marking a significant crossover moment for Indian film music. Known for being an integral part of the Hindi and regional music landscape, the trio’s entry into Malayalam cinema signals a new creative chapter.

Produced by Shihan Shoukath and directed by Adhvaith Nayar, the nephew of veteran actor Mohanlal, Chatha Pacha – The Ring of Rowdies ventures into unfamiliar territory for Malayalam cinema. The film blends high energy WWE-style sports entertainment with emotionally grounded storytelling, unfolding around a group of ex-convicts who unite to create an underground wrestling club.
