Filmmaker Farah Khan recently revealed that Shah Rukh Khan personally trained his daughter, Suhana Khan, while working together on their upcoming film King. The superstar is set to share screen space with Suhana for the first time, and he reportedly turned the film’s set into a dedicated training ground to prepare her for intense action sequences.

The revelation came during an event in Dubai, where Danube Properties announced a Rs. 4,000 crores premium commercial tower project named after Shah Rukh. The actor attended the event with Farah, who spoke candidly on stage about his involvement in Suhana’s preparation. A video of their interaction surfaced on social media and quickly drew attention from fans.

Farah began by praising Shah Rukh’s son, Aryan Khan, for his directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and then highlighted Suhana’s dedication to her craft. “Suhana is incredibly hardworking. She is now going to be in King, and I know that you have been training her in action,” Farah told Shah Rukh, who smiled and nodded as he listened.

Suhana made her Bollywood debut with The Archies (2023), directed by Zoya Akhtar, and King marks her second project.

What we know about King

On his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh unveiled the first look of King. The title reveal teaser featured him performing high-octane stunts and showcased his salt-and-pepper look. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.

Shah Rukh described his role as a “very dark character” during a fan meet-and-greet held on his birthday. He shared that the character, written by Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh, carries several vices: “He is a murderer. He kills people and doesn’t even ask.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is scheduled for release in 2026. The film features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma.
