Stand-up comedian and digital creator Satish Ray recently shared a comic take on the Akshaye Khanna-starrer song from Dhurandhar, adding to the growing online chatter around the track. The song, ‘Fa9la’, performed by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi (Hussam Aseem), has seen a sharp rise in popularity following Akshaye Khanna’s dance sequence in the film.

In his reel, Satish admitted that while he thoroughly enjoyed the beat and energy of the song, he could not understand or sing a single word of its lyrics. His light-hearted observation struck a chord with viewers, many of whom echoed similar reactions to the Arabic track, which blends contemporary beat drops with a sharp, atmospheric soundscape.

The post caught the attention of actress Elnaaz Norouzi, who stepped into the comments section to explain why the song might feel difficult for Indian listeners to decode. In a detailed response, she explained the linguistic difference between Farsi and Arabic, noting that while both languages originate from the same region, they function very differently in sound and structure. Elnaaz pointed out that Farsi is more vowel-heavy with softer consonants, making it easier for Indian audiences—who are already familiar with many Persian-influenced words—to process and recognise its sound patterns.

She further explained that Arabic relies on tighter consonant clusters and deeper guttural sounds that are largely unfamiliar to Persian and Indian languages. According to her, this difference in auditory structure is why Arabic lyrics can feel harder to catch or imitate, even if the words themselves are not complex.

Satish Ray responded to her explanation with humour, replying, “kya baat hai, Arabic sikhane ki fees kitni lengi, discuss kar lein,” which further amused fans in the comments. Several users thanked Elnaaz for breaking down the linguistic nuances behind the song, calling her explanation insightful and easy to understand.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar continues its run in theatres. Directed by Aditya Dhar and backed by B62 Studios and Jio Studios, the film released on December 5, 2025. It stars Ranveer Singh in the lead, alongside Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna. The makers have already announced Dhurandhar 2, which is slated to release in cinemas on March 19, 2026.
