Simar begins by expressing her deepest gratitude to her mother, crediting her for teaching her the art of surrender to the moment, to God, and to the belief that everything eventually falls into place. Calling her mother her everything, Simar’s words reflect a bond rooted in love, faith, and strength.

She goes on to thank her family for their unwavering support and boundless love, describing them as her constant source of courage. Equally important in her journey are her teachers, whom she acknowledges with humility, stating that she will forever remain a student curious, open, and unafraid to make mistakes.

Speaking about Ikkis, Simar calls the film an incredibly special blessing and a beginning she could never have imagined or even known how to pray for. Making her debut under the direction of Sriram Raghavan, she describes it as an honour to be introduced to the world of cinema by a storyteller of his calibre. She expresses heartfelt appreciation for his gentleness, patience, and deep love for storytelling qualities that have left a lasting impact on her.
