Originally set for December 25, 2025, Ikkis has been postponed to January 1, 2026. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the war drama chronicles the heroic life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who earned India’s highest military honour for his bravery in the 1971 Indo-Pak war at age 21. The final trailer, unveiled by Maddock Films, glimpses the soldier’s fearlessness and ultimate sacrifice, described as “a true story of unmatched courage.” Produced by Dinesh Vijan with co-producers Sharada Karki Jalota, Poonam Shivdasani, and Binny Padda, the screenplay is by Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, and Pooja Ladha Surti.
Ikkis stars Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, in the lead as his big-screen debut following Netflix’s The Archies, alongside Dharmendra in a key role, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s niece, making her acting debut as the female lead.
