Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri has taken a fair but restrained start at the box office. As per early trends, the Kartik Aaryan-starrer is expected to collect in the range of Rs. 6.75 crores to Rs. 7.25 crores on Day 1.

The film is urban-centric in its appeal, and that is reflected in the opening. Also, it arrives in the romantic-comedy space, a genre that has been finding it difficult to deliver big numbers in today’s market due to limited mass traction unless supported by exceptional buzz or a breakout word-of-mouth.
With Dhurandhar and Avatar – Fire And Ash continuing to do well, the audience and screens were already split, which was always going to hit the business of this release. Adding to that are showcasing concerns as well, with exhibitors reportedly unwilling to allocate prime shows, leading to fewer high-value slots across several properties.
From Kartik Aaryan’s standpoint, this opening is below some of his better starters. Pati Patni Aur Woh had opened at Rs. 9.10 crore, while Luka Chuppi had collected Rs. 8.01 crore on its first day. In fact, this is among his lowest opening-day figures in the last six years, making the weekend trajectory even more crucial.
From a 2025 comparison point of view, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is in the same league as Param Sundari, Son of Sardaar 2 and Bhool Chuk Maaf – films that opened in a similar range and depended heavily on audience reception over the weekend.
The immediate test now is tomorrow, which is a working day, and hence it needs to be seen how the audience responds post the first-day curiosity factor. However, the Christmas–New Year corridor brings two holiday weekends, and that should give the film enough breathing space to settle and find its audience, provided the word-of-mouth lands on the right side.
