Tottenham will guarantee Premier League survival if they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.

Spurs were handed a major boost when relegation rivals West Ham lost to Newcastle at the weekend and even a point would effectively seal their place in next year’s competition due to their superior goal difference.

While the North Londoners make the trip across the capital looking to extend a four-game unbeaten streak, Chelsea have not won a Premier League fixture since the start of March.

The Blues have slipped to 10th in the table as a result of their poor form and need all three points to clamber into the qualification spot for next season’s Conference League.

Chelsea are also looking to bounce back from last Saturday’s FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City. Xabi Alonso was announced as their new manager for next season after the Wembley loss but will not be in the dugout on Tuesday evening.
