The ritual was shared on Instagram by priest Shivam Mhatre, who wrote in Marathi, “I had the good fortune of performing a traditional and devotional puja at actor Akshaye Khanna’s residence. His calm nature, simplicity, and positive energy made the experience truly special.”

Shivam also praised Akshaye’s acting journey, calling him the embodiment of class and restraint. He noted that the actor impressed audiences with his impactful performance in Chhaava, followed by his intense role in Dhurandhar, his measured performance in Drishyam 2, and his realistic portrayal in Section 375. He added that Akshaye’s careful selection of meaningful roles had helped him maintain a distinct and respected place in Indian cinema.

Danish Pandor, who played Akshaye’s cousin in Dhurandhar, spoke about the actor in an exclusive interview with Zoom. Describing him as extremely reserved and focused, Danish said Akshaye arrived on set, greeted everyone politely, and then immersed himself completely in his work.

“When the cameras roll, he becomes a different person. He knows exactly what needs to be done and avoids distractions,” Danish shared. He further added that Akshaye’s discipline and ability to stay in the moment were qualities every actor could learn from.
