Big Brother host Will Best has been confirmed as the latest celebrity joining the Strictly Come Dancing 2026 cast.

The TV and radio presenter will take to the ballroom when the BBC entertainment series returns to Saturday and Sunday nights this autumn.
Reacting to the news, Best said: “I can’t quite believe it… I’m doing Strictly! What an absolute dream. Albeit a pretty terrifying one.
“I’ve been lucky to do lots of live telly before, but absolutely nothing like this. And I cannot wait!
“I have no idea if I can actually dance, but bring on the sequins, bring on the quicksteps, bring on the dance floor! I’m going to try to enjoy every minute of it.”
Best is best known as the co-host of ITV’s Big Brother, which he presents alongside AJ Odudu, as well as the Hits Radio Breakfast Show.

He began his broadcasting career more than 15 years ago as a presenter on Channel 4’s T4, before going on to appear on programmes across BBC Three, This Morning and music channel Viva.
He joins an increasingly star-studded Strictly Come Dancing 2026 cast, with EastEnders star Lacey Turner, TV personality Dani Dyer, singer Delta Goodrem, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton and influencer Cach Mercer already confirmed for the competition.
Further celebrity contestants are set to be unveiled throughout the summer before the new season begins on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in September.
The celebrities will then be paired with members of Strictly’s professional dancing line-up as they attempt to impress the judges and viewers at home with performances including the quickstep, tango, salsa and Charleston.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in September 2026.
