The creators of Australian comedy series Colin From Accounts have revealed when fans can expect season 3 to land, while also revealing that the upcoming instalment will be the show’s last.

The show, which is written by husband and wife Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, who also star, will return with season 3 on Binge in Australia on 27 July.
Brammall and Dyer announced the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday (14 July), with Dyer revealing “this is our last season”, after which a montage of characters from the show appear on screen shouting expletives.
Meanwhile, in a statement, the pair said: “Creatively it feels like the right time to say goodbye to Colin From Accounts after three seasons.”

They continued: “We loved everything about making this show. From writing all 24 episodes and producing with our amazing partners at Easy Tiger, to acting on set with our brilliant cast and spunky crew, to sitting in the edit with our wonderful post team where we are currently wrapping things up.
“We’re going to miss making this show terribly, but we hope you love season 3 as much as we do. Thank you for watching, it means the world.”

The comedy, which follows Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), a mismatched couple who adopt an injured dog, who they call Colin, proved to be one of the biggest breakout shows when it premiered back in 2023, and has since gone on to win over audiences internationally, airing on Paramount+ in the US and on BBC in the UK.
Season 3 is set to begin with a time jump and pick up a couple of years after Gordon’s failed proposal, with the pair navigating their now-complicated relationship and trying to decide whether to stay together – or whether Colin is the only thing binding them together.
