Amazon MGM Studios has released the first look images for the eagerly awaited action-comedy The Wrecking Crew, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, the film is set to premiere on Prime Video on January 28.

According to the official synopsis, the story follows two estranged half-brothers, Jonny (played by Momoa) and James (played by Bautista), who must reunite after their father’s mysterious death. As they seek answers to the tragic event, long-buried secrets begin to surface and loyalties are tested, revealing a sweeping conspiracy capable of tearing their family apart.

Set against the lush landscapes of Hawaii, the movie also features an impressive supporting cast including Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Stephen Root, and Morena Baccarin in key roles. The screenplay was penned by Jonathan Trooper along with Jeff Fierson, and in addition to starring, both Momoa and Bautista serve as producers alongside Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris.

Momoa’s recent projects include In the Hand of Dante, and he is scheduled to appear in several upcoming films such as Animal Friends, Supergirl, Street Fighter, and Dune: Part Three. Bautista, meanwhile, was last seen in Trap House and has a slate of films including The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, Alpha Gang, Road House 2, and a Highlander reboot.
