Dhurandhar The Revenge has hit yet another major milestone. The film has now crossed Rs. 1050 crores in just the Hind version and that too in just four weeks. On Tuesday, the Ranveer Singh led ensemble affair collected Rs. 6.50 crores more. Now what makes it special is the fact that the numbers are bigger than Monday when Rs. 5 crores had come in. Since it was partial holiday of Vaisakhi yesterday, the numbers saw a spike.
It’s remarkable that the film is still seeing such good footfalls even after being in theatres for a month. In fact, the collections are similar to Friday with no drop whatsoever and that pitches it so well for today and tomorrow as well. Of course, there would be some drop today since the partial holidays effect would be over. Still, the huge jump over the weekend followed by very good hold so far on the weekdays has done the job. Dhurandhar The Revenge has so far amassed Rs. 1053.50 crores.
The next major target for the film is to have the fourth week of Rs. 50 crores+ and with Rs. 44.50 crores already in, that should be achievable. Yes, shows tomorrow evening from 9 PM would be impacted due to Bhooth Bangla arriving on Paid Previews. This makes it a touch and go scenario for the film. Of course, across all languages a half century score this week is a given but when it comes to just the Hindi version, it’s going to be wait and watch scenario.
