At its best, sport is about marvelling at what humans can do. The Enhanced Games 2026 are set to take that idea and run with it.

Sunday’s controversial new event has caused quite a stir as not only are the 40-plus competitors allowed to take performance-enhancing drugs, they are actively encouraged to do so.

The athletes will come together at a purpose-built arena in Las Vegas to compete in eight events across four disciplines – swimming (50m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly), weightlifting (snatch, clean and jerk), track and field (100m) and strongman (deadlift) – with an emphasis on taking aim at world records.

With six-figure prizes on offer, it’s no surprise that a host of former Olympians, including double-medal sprinter Fred Kerley, have signed up.

There is a significant British contingent as well, including Paris 2024 silver medal winner Ben Proud, fellow swimmer Emily Barclay and sprinter Reece Prescod.

The Enhanced Games has been met by significant opposition from World Athletics and the World Anti Doping Agency but will still attract plenty of interested viewers this weekend.

Radio Times brings you all the TV details you need to know for the Enhanced Games 2026.
