“Most thought it would never happen, and some still arent’ convinced…” Disney+ has debuted the first look teaser trailer for the live music documentary film called Don’t Look Back in Anger, which is the official name of the big, glorious doc made about the band Oasis. Releasing in theaters this September first before it’s streaming online. Made by Disney, magna studios, and Sony Music Vision. Get ready for unprecedented backstage access to one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks of our time. Were you there? Did you go to one of these shows? Don’t Look Back In Anger profiles and follows the band on the road during their legendary Oasis Live ’25 tour last year, which was a massive hit worldwide with giant stadiums sold out everywhere instantly. The title originally comes from one of the songs off of their 1995 studio album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?. So how did it go? “It’s gonna be chaos” he says – and it definitely was. But it was also glorious as everyone there seemed to have a great time. Experience the meteoric rise of Oasis through rare footage and untold stories as the band reunites for Oasis Live ’25, chronicling their long journey from Manchester streets to global rock stardom. Aside from a real theatrical release, it’ll also be playing in select IMAX theaters this fall – like many other great music docs before it. Just a quick teaser to get the buzz going.

The documentary film charts Liam & Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion tour Oasis Live ’25, one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks of our time. The movie is an unapologetically uplifting account of arguably the biggest musical event of 2025, capturing the experience and emotions of the band and their fans across the world. The unique perspective includes rehearsal, backstage and onstage access, as well as the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in over 25 years. Alongside the band’s sold-out world tour, the film also explores the profound emotional impact of this phenomenal global cultural moment and what their music means to audiences and generations of fans worldwide. Don’t Look Back in Anger is created & directed by the acclaimed British writer / filmmaker Steven Knight, writer of Dirty Pretty Things, Eastern Promises, Locke, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Seventh Son, Pawn Sacrifice, Allied, Serenity, Locked Down, Spencer, and Maria, “Peaky Blinders”, “Taboo”, and others. It’s also directed by Dylan Southern & Will Lovelace (both of the docs Shut Up & Play the Hits, Meet Me in the Bathroom). Produced by Sam Bridger, Guy Heeley, Davud Karbassioun, Steven Knight. Disney will debut the Don’t Look Back in Anger Oasis doc in limited theaters worldwide starting September 11th, 2026, before it’s out on Disney+ later in the year.
