Good Omens stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen have thanked fans for their support following the show’s conclusion.

The Prime Video series, which is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and follows the unlikely friendship between demon Crowley (David Tennant) and angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), aired its third and final season back in May.
Tennant said in a video posted on the show’s official Instagram video: “Hello to all the fans of Good Omens. Thanks for sticking with us for three stories that we’ve told. It’s been one of the great pleasures of our life to be able to tell those stories.”
Sheen added: “Yeah, and to watch your journey – because you’ve informed it as much as any of us have.
“And even though it’s come to an end in one way for us. I know that this story will live on for you and through you. So, thank you for that.
Sheen went on to add that “one of the biggest aspects of this whole Good Omens world” is the fans, revealing that he had already read the novel ahead of starring in the show and is a fan himself.
He continued: “And so I have some sort of understanding of the level of passion to this story. To be part of it and to see the world of fans around this, that is not just sort of separate from it. I mean it’s intrinsically linked to this.”
He added: “It’s just wonderful seeing all the creativity that comes out, but also the relationships that have been created through people being fans of the show. It’s been one of the most enjoyable aspects for me.”
Tennant added that there are always fans cosplaying Crowley and Aziraphale at Comic Con, noting: “There’s something about that central relationship that we’ve had the honour to embody that’s just captured imaginations. It’s very moving actually.”

Gaiman, co-author of Good Omens, exited the TV series after he was accused of sexual assault, which he has strongly denied. He contributed to writing the Good Omens finale but he did not work on the production and his production company Blank Corporation was not involved.
A total of nine women have spoken out against the writer, with their accusations being detailed in a Vulture article published in January 2025, and in a Tortoise Media podcast released in July 2024.
Allegations included claims that Gaiman engaged them in “rough” sex and BDSM without their consent. The novelist has firmly denied any non-consensual or illegal conduct in a statement.

He said: “As I read through this latest collection of accounts, there are moments I half-recognise and moments I don’t, descriptions of things that happened sitting beside things that emphatically did not happen.
“I’m far from a perfect person, but I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone. Ever.”
