After starring in the recent reboot of The Naked Gun, Liam Neeson is going back to the high-octane action genre inThe Mongoose. The first trailer has been released showing Neeson as a former soldier on the run to prove his innocence. Watch the trailer below…
Neeson stars as Ryan ‘Fang’ Flanagan, a decorated war hero who leads police on a cross-country car chase after a confrontation with his ex-wife’s abusive new husband takes a fatal turn. Chased by police and helped by former comrades as well as supportive watchers, Flanagan must reach a place known as The Mongoose before he is captured and his chance at freedom is lost forever.
Starring alongside Neeson in the film are Marisa Tomei, Ving Rhames, Marcus Thomas, Maurice Marvel Meredith and Michael Chiklis. The Mongooseis directed by Mark Vanselow in his directorial debut after being Neeson’s stunt double for several of their films. The script was written by Thompson Evans. Watch the trailer below…
