“Something is amiss…” Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed an official trailer for an indie western mystery horror film titled The Wolf and the Lamb, which is ready for release this month. This hasn’t popped up at any festivals before but it’ll be out to watch in theaters and on VOD later this month. The supernatural thriller follows Jo Beckett, a devoted schoolteacher whose life is upended when her young son mysteriously vanishes. As his eerie behavior begins to spreads more paranoia and violence through their rural town, Jo’s desperate search leads her through a maze of folklore, paranoia, and faith. Facing hostility from neighbors, dangerous local authority figures, and her own unraveling grip on reality, she must confront the terrifying forces that will challenge everything she believes in. Starring Cassandra Scerbo as Jo, Jaydon Clark as her son Henry, with Eric Nelson, Angus Macfadyen, Q’orianka Kilcher, Sammi Rotibi, Adrianne Palicki, Zach McGowan, and James Landry Hébert. This quickly turns from just another western into a full-on teethy vampire thriller at the end! Something is definitely wrong with this town and these people.
