The first episode of Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor Adventures – Run Fast, Be Kind, a new audio adventure miniseries for the Twelfth Doctor is available from Big Finish, with Jon Culshaw taking over the role portrayed on TV by Peter Capaldi. Set between the 2015 Christmas special and 2016’s The Return of Doctor Mysterio, the Doctor is thrust out into an adventure with his new companion Ashlorn Wilton, played by Gwithian Evans.
The first episode of Run Fast, Be Kind,titled The Second Death, finds the Doctor seeking solitude as he thinks back on bitter-sweet memories on Darillium. But the universe always has other plans for the Doctor, and it isn’t long before he is on another adventure with a new companion.
A lone figure journeys across the arid wastes of Kersarin during the last days of history, and wherever he goes, he brings smiles and hope to those he finds with his songs and stories. Like a bard of old, Ash Wilton regales folk with stories of heroes and good times, but he believes you don’t get time travellers at the end of the universe….. only this time, he may be wrong.
