As Border 2 gears up for its much-awaited theatrical release, actor Varun Dhawan has received a deeply emotional and meaningful endorsement. The wife of late Param Vir Chakra awardee Hoshiar Singh Dahiya has expressed her heartfelt appreciation for Varun’s performance in the film, where his character is inspired by the legendary war hero.

The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J. P. Dutta’s J. P. Films. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J. P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh, who is known for mounting large-scale patriotic dramas with emotional depth.

Featuring an ensemble cast led by Sunny Deol, along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, Border 2 promises a powerful blend of action, emotion and realism. The film also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana in pivotal roles.

Scheduled to release on January 23, 2026, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend, Border 2 is being positioned as one of the biggest patriotic releases of the year.
