Russell T Davies’s latest hard-hitting drama arrives on Channel 4 this week, bringing big-name stars Alan Cumming and David Morrissey together for a series exploring the rise in hate towards LGBTQ+ people.

Although Tip Toe specifically focuses on homophobia and transphobia, Davies has said that the show will be relevant to all viewers, as it captures a widespread sense of intolerance and prejudice affecting many different communities.
The series introduces us to Leo (Cumming) and Clive (Morrissey), two men who have lived next door to one another for more than a decade, but have become no closer than casual acquaintances in that time.
They get to know each other a bit better than either would prefer over the course of one fateful week, detonating long-brewing frustrations about their opposing world views.
