Brazil and Norway battle it out on Sunday night in New York with a spot in the World Cup quarter-finals up for grabs.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side topped Group C before their comeback 2-1 win against Japan in the round of 32. Japan took the lead in the first half but Casemiro and Gabriel Martinelli netted – the latter coming in the 96th minute – to reach the last 16.
Brazil, who are the most successful team in World Cup history having lifted the trophy a record five times, don’t have a brilliant record in recent years as they’ve failed to make it past the quarter-finals in four of the last five tournaments.
Former Real Madrid boss Ancelotti will be hoping to end that run this summer as Brazil look to lift the trophy for the first time since their 2002 success.
Norway, who beat Ivory Coast 2-1 in the round of 32 thanks to Erling Haaland’s 86th-minute goal, are new kids on the block compared to the experienced Brazil as they’re making just their fourth World Cup appearance.
The winner on Sunday night will face either England or World Cup co-hosts Mexico in the quarter-finals in Miami.
