We have reached the halfway point of Love Island 2026 as the girls and boys find themselves split in two different villas as the ultimate test continues.

Casa Amor has been wreaking havoc among the Islanders as they compete in games and get to know bombshells without their partners watching them from the other side of the villa.
Last night (30 June), the boys’ Casa Amor antics were exposed to the main villa as the girls received selfies from the bombshells.
For Yasmin, she received a revealing selfie of Lorenzo while Jasmine received a selfie of Kavan kissing Charleen…
Amid all the chaos, fans have been eager to know when Love Island 2026 will be drawing to a close and more importantly, with so many couples unsure of where their heads are at, who could possibly be in the final?

When could Love Island 2026 end?

The schedules have not yet confirmed when Love Island 2026 could draw to a close, but based on previous final dates we can make an educated guess.
The summer series usually airs for eight weeks, and the final tends to air on a Monday night, as was the case in 2024 and 2025.
This year, Love Island began on Monday 1 June and if it were to follow the same pattern, we could expect the final to air on Monday 27 July.

Is the Love Island final filmed live?

A bit of both! The final episode usually swaps between live moments of Maya Jama as she reveals where the couples placed in the competition, as well as speaking to former Islanders about their time on the show.
The episode then features footage of the Islanders’ last day in the villa, which includes the Islanders taking part in the dance class before the boys and girls are separated to write their declarations of love.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
