Well, it took rather a long time, but X-Men ’97 is back for its second season on Disney+, and fans couldn’t be happier to be reunited with Marvel’s most iconic mutants.

Picking up on the cliffhanger season 1 ending, we find the gang scattered across the time stream, with a handful sent back to ancient Egypt and another group brought forward to a dark future (aren’t they all?).

The first season proved to be an unexpected highlight of Marvel’s tumultuous post-Endgame years, but some are calling this follow-up an even more sumptuous slice of superhero drama.

When is the next episode of X-Men ’97 season 2 on Disney+?

X-Men ’97 season 2 drops a new episode every Wednesday on Disney+, with a simultaneous launch worldwide at 12am (PT), 3am (ET) and 8am (BST).

Although the show kicked off with a bumper-sized three-part launch, there will be just one episode per week from now until the finale in mid-August.
