In a significant moment for the luxury eyewear sector and the global music industry, MAYBACH Icons of Luxury has partnered with multi-platinum Indian hip-hop artist Badshah for a limited-edition collection. This collaboration marks the first time an Indian entertainment figure has been involved in co-designing and curating a global line for the brand, indicating a new step toward greater inclusivity and creative diversity in the evolution of MAYBACH Icons of Luxury.

As part of this partnership, Badshah known for his influence on India’s entertainment landscape has created a bespoke collection that reflects his personal design style, centred on individuality and luxury, while also respecting MAYBACH’s long-standing legacy.

The MAYBACH x Badshah collection goes beyond a design collaboration, highlighting themes of self-expression, cultural identity, and personal storytelling. Each piece reflects Badshah’s own creative journey while maintaining the high level of craftsmanship associated with MAYBACH. The collection brings a fresh artistic approach to two of MAYBACH Eyewear’s signature silhouettes — THE ARTIST III and THE KING III — blending the brand’s classic sophistication with Badshah’s distinct design sensibility.

The limited-edition capsule features eight handcrafted eyewear pieces, available exclusively at Eternity Lifestyles in India and through authorized MAYBACH Eyewear retailers worldwide. The collection includes the ARTIST III Optical Series priced at INR 2,79,150 (USD 2,850), the KING III Sunglass Series at INR 3,23,300 (USD 2,950), and the diamond-studded Snow Camouflage KING III, priced at INR 50,88,450 (USD 43,600).

The ARTIST III optical series gets a fresh creative update, with Badshah and the MAYBACH design team drawing inspiration from a personal element — sound waves. Reflecting Badshah’s connection to music, these waveforms are translated into detailed temple accents that add a sense of movement to the frames. Known for its clean and minimalist design, the ARTIST III silhouette is reimagined with colours like electric yellow and deep blue, adding a youthful energy while maintaining its signature simplicity. This approach gives the design a contemporary appeal that connects well with a new generation of eyewear enthusiasts.

The KING III sunglass series in the MAYBACH x Badshah collection takes inspiration from India’s varied natural landscapes, with each design reflecting elements connected to the country’s environment and wildlife. The Snow Camouflage edition mirrors the cool, muted tones of the Himalayan terrain, while another camouflage version draws from the look of India’s dense jungles, subtly highlighting themes of nature conservation and tiger protection. The third design, Tigers of India, features a vivid orange palette that pays homage to the country’s iconic tigers, creating a bold and easily recognisable statement.

Adding to the exclusivity of the collection is its highlight piece: the Diamond-Studded Snow Camouflage KING III. With only five units made globally, this limited design features 90 diamonds set into the snow camouflage pattern, blending precision, craftsmanship, and rarity. It represents the highest level of MAYBACH’s workmanship and serves as a notable collector’s item and a clear symbol of luxury.

As MAYBACH Icons of Luxury continues to grow its presence in the Indian subcontinent—an expanding luxury eyewear market expected to reach USD 1,721 million by 2030 with a CAGR of 11.72%—this collaboration places the brand in a strong position within both cultural and commercial developments.

The singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer’s recent appearances at Paris Men’s Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week have further established Badshah as a notable global style figure. Alongside his cultural presence, he continues to make strides in the music industry. He recently became the first Indian rapper to cross 5 billion streams on Spotify across all credits and completed the largest sold-out Indian hip-hop tour in North America, highlighting his wide reach and influence. With collaborations that include artists like Davido, J Balvin, Tainy, Sean Paul, Major Lazer, Tiesto, and Lil Baby, he continues to explore new creative directions and broaden cultural representation.
