Who is in the new Pressure trailer?
The video features Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser (The Whale) and Emmy nominee Andrew Scott (Ripley) as they take on the roles of General Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg, respectively. It highlights their tense meetings, where they must ensure the success of D-Day. Joining them are Kerry Condon as Kay Summersby, Chris Messina as Irving P. Krick, Damian Lewis as Bernard Montgomery, Con O’Neill as Trafford Leigh-Mallory, Daniel Quinn-Toye as Michael Gregory, and more.
Pressure is directed by Anthony Maras, who co-wrote the screenplay with David Haig, based on Haig’s 2014 stage play of the same name. The historical drama movie is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Lucas Webb for Working Title, with Cass Marks and Studiocanal’s Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern, and Joe Naftalin serving as executive producers.
Fraser’s most recent movie was the Japan-set dramedy Rental Family, which received an approval rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. He’s set to reprise his iconic role as Rick O’Connell in the newest installment of The Mummy, which will also reunite him with Rachel Weisz. As for Scott, he will next be seen starring alongside Michelle Williams in A Place in Hell and in Walk the Blue Fields with Emily Blunt.
