The globally loved OREO brand has officially joined hands with K-pop sensation BTS for a first-of-its-kind global snacking collaboration. The partnership introduces the Limited Edition OREO & BTS Cookies, a special flavour personally inspired by the band’s Korean roots and childhood memories.

Announced on May 26, 2026, the collaboration marks BTS’s first-ever global partnership with a snacking brand. The campaign is set to roll out across more than 80 markets worldwide, bringing together music, culture, fandom, and food in a unique celebration designed especially for BTS fans.
The newly launched cookies feature a Korean sweet pancake-inspired flavour, taking inspiration from hotteok, one of South Korea’s most popular street food delicacies. The sweet creme filling combines nostalgic flavours that hold a personal connection for the members of BTS, who revealed that both hotteok and OREO cookies were a cherished part of their childhood.
Speaking about the collaboration, BTS shared, “For OREO to be the first snacking brand we’ve collaborated with globally is a huge honor. We ate them as kids, we eat them in the studio, and now OREO is helping us share a taste of home with the world. We’re just so proud to add our own chapter to OREO’s amazing story.”
Adding to the excitement, the limited edition cookies come with OREO’s first-ever purple wafers, paying tribute to BTS and their global fanbase. The cookies also feature 13 specially designed embossments created by BTS to celebrate the group’s 13-year journey. These include the names of the members, the iconic BTS light stick, and hidden message elements spread across three OREO cookies that fans can collect and decode.
The packaging design also celebrates South Korean street market culture with vibrant visuals inspired by the energy, colours, and food traditions of local Korean markets.
As part of the campaign, OREO has also launched a global fan engagement movement inspired by BTS fans’ tradition of writing heartfelt letters to the group. Fans can submit digital “love letters” to BTS by scanning the QR code available on the cookie packs or by visiting the official campaign website.

The Limited Edition OREO & BTS Cookies will begin rolling out at retailers from June 2026 for a limited period.
