Jennifer Winget may be on the verge of a major personal milestone. Sources close to the actor have reportedly confirmed that she is in a relationship with Singapore-based businessman William Ishmael, and that the couple is actively planning to wed.

A source close to the actor told Moneycontrol that the couple is already deep into preparations. The source said, “Jennifer and William are very happy together. It’s a treat to watch them and their affectionate dynamic. William proposed to Jennifer during a holiday, and she said yes. They are now planning their wedding. Jennifer has been shortlisting vendors and wedding services, and has even put together an elaborate mood board.”

Neither Winget nor Ishmael has publicly commented on the reports.

Christian wedding, two possible timelines

According to the same report, the ceremony will be a Christian wedding. Two possible timelines are being considered: September or October 2026, or alternatively December 2026 to January 2027.

The source added, “They are currently scouting venues. All her close friends are aware of the plans, including industry friends such as Harleen Sethi and Genelia Deshmukh.”

Winget was previously married to actor Karan Singh Grover. The two met on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye, wed in April 2012, and divorced in 2014. Grover later married actor Bipasha Basu in 2016, after the two worked together on the film Alone.

On the professional front, Winget rose to household recognition as Dr Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye and went on to earn widespread praise for her performances in Saraswatichandra, Beyhadh, and Bepannaah.
