Crunchyroll’s release schedule for the summer has a new school-set romantic comedy in Rich Girl Caretaker, and its premiere has the same release date as many other anticipated anime coming soon.
Based on the light novel series written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe, the anime follows Itsuki Tomonari, a student whose life changes after he becomes involved with Hinako Konohana, a wealthy heiress who appears perfect to everyone around her.
Behind closed doors, though, Hinako needs far more help than her polished image suggests, leaving Itsuki to become her secret caretaker.

Rich Girl Caretaker release schedule: When are new episodes on Crunchyroll?
As revealed by Crunchyroll itself, the release date for Rich Girl Caretaker’s premiere on the streaming service is Saturday 4 July 2026.
From then on, every other episode of the season will drop each Saturday, with the full release schedule for Rich Girl Caretaker as things stand below:

- Episode 3 – Saturday 18 July 2026
- Episode 4 – Saturday 25 July 2026

As confirmed on the anime’s official website for the upcoming Blu-Ray release, Rich Girl Caretaker will have 12 episodes altogether for its upcoming season.
For its Crunchyroll broadcast, though, anime can still get schedule changes due to breaks, delays, or programming updates, but we’ll update this guide right away if any of those changes occur.
What time are new Rich Girl Caretaker episodes released?
Crunchyroll has not announced the exact weekly release time for Rich Girl Caretaker, with its summer line-up currently listing the show’s time as TBA; however, we expect it to be shortly before or after the official Japanese schedule – in spots as early as MBS’s late-night Saturday block, airing at 2:38am JST on Sundays.
If Crunchyroll follows the same timing, new Rich Girl Caretaker episodes would be expected at the following times:
- Pacific time – 10:38am
- Eastern time – 1:38pm
- UK time – 6:38pm
- Central European time – 7:38pm
- India Standard Time – 11:08pm

Rich Girl Caretaker centres on Itsuki Tomonari, a high school student who is already used to looking after himself.
After an incident involving Hinako Konohana, the daughter of an extremely wealthy family, Itsuki ends up becoming her caretaker and transferring to an elite school filled with students from rich households.
To everyone else, Hinako appears graceful, intelligent, and completely in control. In private, however, she struggles with basic day-to-day tasks, meaning Itsuki has to support her without letting the truth slip out.
The anime is directed by Shusei Morishita at Brain’s Base, with Aya Yoshinaga handling series composition, Nao Kawashima designing the characters, and Natsumi Tabuchi and Hanae Nakamura composing the music.
