Actor Saiyami Kher has unveiled her first look from filmmaker Vikram Phadnis’ upcoming untitled romantic drama, giving audiences a glimpse into a film deeply rooted in love, emotions, and human relationships.

In the newly released first-look image, Saiyami is seen portraying a fashion photographer, holding a professional camera against a scenic outdoor backdrop. Sporting a subtle and understated appearance, the actor’s look reflects the grounded and emotionally driven tone of the film. Interestingly, Saiyami drew inspiration for the role from her close friend, celebrated fashion photographer Taras Taraporvala.

The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles. The project marks a significant milestone for Vikram Phadnis, as it will be his first Hindi directorial film to release. Known for his strong aesthetic sensibilities and understanding of visual storytelling, the filmmaker is expected to bring an emotionally layered narrative to the screen.

Opening up about the project and her collaboration with Vikram Phadnis, Saiyami shared, “Vikram narrated the film and it was a yes right away for me. Again, I’m very grateful that I have got such an author backed role. Actors like me are dying to get such meaty parts. So, every time I get an opportunity like this I consider myself very very blessed.”

Speaking further about the filmmaker and the role, she added, “This film is deeply personal to Vikram and it adds even more responsibility on me to live upto his expectations. I sure hope I have. Vikram is a really really wonderful soul. His earnestness and hard work and his conviction are the reasons this film has been made possible.”

Saiyami also spoke about the transformation required for the character and the experience of working alongside her co-stars. “I play a photographer in the film and it’s always wonderful to pick up a new skill with every film. As you can see Vikram has given me a completely different look in the film. I am delighted I have gotten to work with Vineet and Tahir. They are both fantastic actors.”

The actor further reflected on balancing contrasting projects in her career, adding, “I am very fortunate that I have a film like Haiwaan and then this film just to contrasting parts and films. All I can hope for is getting to live many many more new lives in front of camera.”

With its emotionally driven storyline and performance-oriented cast, the untitled romantic drama has already begun generating curiosity among audiences eager to see Saiyami Kher in a fresh and layered role.
