Salman Khan has addressed the speculation surrounding his recent social media activity after a cryptic Instagram caption sparked concern among fans online. The actor took to Instagram once again to clarify that his earlier post was not about loneliness, but simply about wanting some personal space and “me time.”

The clarification came shortly after Salman shared a shirtless photograph of himself accompanied by a reflective caption that quickly went viral across social media platforms. In the earlier post, the actor had written, “By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yr self, Alone and Lonely, Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u….. Ab iske aage you Figure out what you need to do.”

The post immediately triggered discussions among fans, with many wondering whether the actor was hinting at something emotional or personal. Several social media users expressed concern about Salman’s well-being, leading to widespread speculation online.

Now, putting those rumours to rest, the actor shared another note on Instagram explaining that his words had been misunderstood. In his latest post, Salman wrote, “Arre yaar Mai apne bare mai nahi baat kar raha tha. How can i be alone when i have such a large amazing family n friends n how can I be lonely when I have u guys, your wishes n Duas, I would be the biggest na shukra ever.”

He further added that sometimes he simply prefers spending time alone to recharge himself. “Kabhi Kabhi logon ke saath reh kar pak jaata hun, isliye some me time, Buss…” he shared.

Salman also humorously reacted to how the internet turned his picture into “breaking news,” revealing that even his mother had started worrying after seeing the reactions. “Iss baar koi photo nahi breaking news bana diya, Mummy pooch rahi hai, Kya hua Beta? Chill maro yaar,” he concluded.

The actor’s candid clarification was met with relief from fans, many of whom flooded the comments section with supportive messages and heart emojis. Several users also appreciated Salman’s honesty and sense of humour while addressing the situation.

On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen on the big screen in Sikandar, which released in 2025. He also made a cameo appearance in Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi directorial venture Raja Shivaji.

The actor has also completed shooting for Maatrubhumi, co-starring Apoorva Lakhia. The project was earlier titled Battle Of Galwan, although reports suggest the film is currently facing delays. Meanwhile, Salman has already begun shooting for his next project with director Vamshi Paidipally. The film is backed by Dil Raju and also stars Nayanthara in a key role.
