Sara Ali Khan marked four years of her film Atrangi Re by looking back at some personal moments from the sets and sharing unseen behind-the-scenes pictures on social media. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actor posted two collages that offered a glimpse into the making of the film and the memories she associates with it.

One of the collages was dedicated to director Aanand L Rai and featured candid moments with him during the shoot. Alongside the images, Sara wrote a heartfelt note expressing her gratitude, calling the experience her “best moment of 2020.” She wrote, “4 years. How time flies Sir Aanand L Rai. Truly the best moment of 2020. I knew that then. And such precious memories that I will cherish forever. I know that now.” Her words reflected the lasting impact the collaboration has had on her, both personally and professionally.

The second collage centred on her character Rinku Soya, showcasing Sara in different emotional phases from the film. Sara’s portrayal of Rinku was widely noted for breaking away from her earlier screen image and remains one of her most unconventional roles to date.

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Atrangi Re was released in 2021 and starred Sara Ali Khan alongside Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. The film premiered on an OTT platform and drew attention for its offbeat narrative and layered performances. As the film completes four years, Sara’s nostalgic post underlines the emotional connection she continues to share with Atrangi Re and the memories she carries forward from the experience.
